Origami Owl

Philosophy: “Our mission is to be a force for good; to love, inspire and motivate people of all ages to reach their dreams and empower them to make a difference in the lives of others.” – Origami Owl

I was first introduced to Origami Owl through my best friend. She hosted a Jewelry Bar at her house, so by default, I was going to be buying jewelry. I didn’t plan on falling in love with it, but I did.

I love it for three reasons. So much so…

that I’m now a designer.

Origami Owl is unique, which is hard to come by in today’s MLM, direct selling circus of products to make you healthier, prettier, happier, skinnier and have longer eye lashes (seriously?).

Origami Owl: Their Story

The first reason I fell in love with this jewelry is because it tells a story…and you know I’m always up for anything that tells me a story. All of the lockets are customized by adding tiny charms, of which there is no shortage to choose from.

Initials, birthstones, sports, hobbies, pets, food/drink, Swarovski Crystal stardust. The list goes on. Old charms retire and new ones are added all the time.

Origami Owl also has a constant rotation of new products including: earrings, bangles, wrap bracelets that feature lockets, watches, lanyards, and rings. Not all pieces can be filled with charms, but all pieces are unique in that they speak truth and meaning. They tell a story.

The second reason I love Origami Owl is because of my daughter. Elise got her first locket when she was about 6. We created it together.

Origami Owl is one of the only companies I’ve heard of to offer an “Owlette Program”. Kids ages 11-17 can work alongside mom/mentor to learn entrepreneurial skills, achieve leadership goals and gain independence.

Working on personal development together promotes a mother/daughter connection I look forward to when Elise is old enough to join me…if she wants.

I can’t think of a better way to teach her about setting goals and following through on strategies. Jumping outside of your comfort zone is never a bad idea, for kids and adults.

The third reason I love Origami Owl is that they are a Force for Good. Promotions to benefit specific causes, by giving back, change monthly. A portion of the profit from Cause Charms (charms associated with that month’s cause) is donated to campaigns that raise awareness.

Some that have been featured are: anti-bullying, suicide prevention, childhood hunger prevention, heart disease awareness, PTSD and breast cancer awareness, to name a few…

If you’ve ever thought of having a fun side hustle, but didn’t want to peddle makeup, wax cubes or wellness products people are skeptical of, drop me a message. The jewelry sells itself, if selling isn’t your thing. It’s not mine either. Thanks to how unique it is, all I have to do is wear it and offer my website.
